How I do tech interviews

Posted by MAquino

Doing tech interviews is dark art that most places get wrong. They vary in approach from testing someone's rote memorization ability to providing abstract problem solving exercises that may examine a candidate's deductive reasoning but shed no light on how a software developer would actually perform on the job. In this talk, I will describe an approach for doing tech interviews that I developed after my previous approach allowed two unqualified candidates through. It is a simple technique that is very difficult to fool.

About the speaker:
I am a software developer who has done lots of tech interviews. I am also one of the speakers of the conference.
